Cynthia Charette, originally from Nashville, Tennessee, is an Emmy-winning production designer. A theatre design and visual arts graduate of Syracuse University, she also studied with The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Cynthia is a member of The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and her work has been recognized for excellence by both the Television Academy and the Art Directors Guild. She won the 2023 Emmy for production design for her work on the Disney+ series The Mysterious Benedict Society S2.
She received an Art Directors Guild nomination for Back When We Were Grownups and a Cable Ace nomination for TNT’s Memphis.

Cynthia’s design vision can be seen in varied field of projects that include Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, Jane the Virgin, Norma Jean & Marilyn for HBO, Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, and Scary Movie 2.

She has gathered extensive experience working across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and collaborates with many interior design clients across the country. She also enjoys being of service and helping others in her community. Cynthia currently resides in Los Angeles.
